Start loads:
1. Jenson Button - 664,5 kg
2. Rubens Barrichello - 666,5 kg
3. Sebastien Vettel - 657 kg
4. Robert Kubica - 650 kg
5. Nico Rosberg - 657 kg
6. Felipe Massa - 654 kg
7. Kimi Raikkonen - 655,5 kg
8. Mark Webber - 662 kg
9. Nick Heidfeld - 691,5 kg
10. Fernando Alonso - 680,7 kg
11. Kazuki Nakajima - 680,5 kg
12. Heikki Kovalainen - 690,6 kg
13. Sebastien Buemi - 675,5 kg
14. Nelson Piquet - 694,1 kg
15. Giancarlo Fisichella - 689 kg
16. Adrian Sutil - 684,5 kg
17. Sebastien Bourdais - 662,5 kg
18. Lewis Hamilton - 655 kg
19. Jarno Trulli - 660 kg
20. Timo Glock - 670 kg

Seems like everyone is on a three-stopper, only Kovalainen, Heidfeld and Piquet seem to be planning on a two-stop strategy. Probably has to do with the graining of the soft tires. But Button could have taken 10kg's of extra fuel with him and still take pole position by a mile tongue.gif

My prediction:

1. Massa
2. Barrichello
3. Kimi
4. Vettel
5 Kubica
6. Rosberg
7. Heidfeld
8. Button

The first damaged frontwing?

i think theyre all on a 2 stopper, remember one thing heidfeld is using KERS, kubica isnt, thats one reason why his car has alot more weight. fisichella has just as much weight, as does sutil, alonso, nakajima and glock isnt too far off. most teams whos cars have alot of weight are due in part to that KERS system.

Mate remember cars have to weigh 605 kg including the drivers excluding all fluids, there is no way Heidfeld's car is far heavier without fluids, the problem with KERS is that they cant distribute it aswell as normal ballast which you can put wherever you want.

The problem with Kubica is that they are said to want to have as much weight on the front as possible(for the balance) while the heaviest part of your body is on the middle part of the car, KERS is also more to the middle but because Heidfeld is somewhat lighter they still have some more ballast to put in the front and with that compensate the balance with the use of KERS.

But there is absolutely no way Heidfeld's car is much heavier than 605 kg without fluids, just take that for granted wink.gif Knowing 10kg's costs around 0,3/0,4 second a lap while KERS is said to give you an laptime improvement of around 0,2 to 0,3 seconds a lap in ideal circumstances, so just forget about his car weighing so much more from itself wink.gif

Crazy race, WTF happened with Ferrari and a shame about Vettel. But good overtaking so far, quite surprised with it, and Brawn GP was really outstanding smile.gif

Although Barichello seems to think he is driving a bumper car laugh.gif

the KERS system also weighs 40kg alone, so that 605 is already up to 645

1 16 Nico Rosberg Williams-Toyota 16 17:27:48 34.720 34.720
1 23 Rubens Barrichello Brawn-Mercedes 18 17:31:00 35.824 35.824
1 12 Sebastien Buemi STR-Ferrari 18 17:31:14 22.162 22.162
1 10 Timo Glock Toyota 18 17:31:16 23.084 23.084
1 22 Jenson Button Brawn-Mercedes 19 17:31:44 27.397 27.397
2 6 Nick Heidfeld BMW 18 17:32:19 32.494 58.362
1 8 Nelsinho Piquet Renault 19 17:32:51 24.955 24.955

he pit lap 18 yet button, whos car weight was lower, pit a lap after, and if you look all drivers made 2 stop strategies, 3 stops for people who were in the first lap accident.
not the weight diff between kubica's car, which wasn't running KERS, and heidfeld's, its 40kg

Lol dnno mate, but the cars themselves weighed like 550 with drivers and without ballast/liquids over the past seasons, KES isnt counted as liquids far as I know so how on earth you ever get to 645, no way they would be running it if that was the case tongue.gif

yea they would, because the boost equates to about 80 more horsepower, so it offsets that weight anyway. its evident there that thats the difference because heidfeld only ran a 2 stop as did kubica, yet theres a 40kg diff between them, coincidence that the KERS system weighs that? nope.
